Just for a moment experience life as a nature photographer, out in the wild without a cell phone, email or Internet access, leaving the stress of your active life behind. Imagine walking through the woods, canoeing to a pristine lake and watching t he rapids do their dance over the rocky river bed all the while looking for that one elusive award-winning photograph.

Join me for 3 days and 2 nights at the Algonquin Eco-Lodge. Learn how to achieve dramatic results from your digital camera using its many features to provide you with enriched colour, dramatic contrast and special effects while hiking and canoeing in this beautiful setting then put your feet up and share your photography stories around the warming fire in true lodge comfort.

You should have a basic working knowledge of how to use your camera and I recommend that you bring a tripod suitable for your camera and your camera manual (Many shots will require the use of a tripod). Also, an empty memory card for your camera will make it easier for you to share your photographs with others and bring extra batteries. Others who would like to come for the weekend but don’t wish to be part of the Photography Workshop may register using the lodges regular summer rates.
