Cornwallis River (Jijuktu’kwejk)Cornwallis River Crossing Rd. in New Minus, viewing inland toward Miners Marsh and Kentville along the top of the dyke.
Cornwallis River (Jijuktu’kwejk)The ice flows were pushed up the bank by the rising high tide then left behind by the falling tide. I've become a bit obsessed with these ice flows over the rivers and in the mudflats sometimes caused by the aboiteaus of the Minus Basin.
Cornwallis River (Jijuktu’kwejk)In this photograph I used an ND filter to reduce the amount of light reaching the camera sensor. This allowed me to reduce the shutter speed to 1/8 of a second in order to attain the sense of movement through the blurred bus on the bridge while shooting in full daylight.
Cornwallis River (Jijuktu’kwejk)Another photograph taken with an ND filter, on the other side of the bridge. No, it's not the same school bus as the previous shot but it was a surprising coincidence as it was taken 22 minutes later.
